BOAT DRAWINGS

Drawings made while moving across the water on a boat.

Some drawings are made on a sequence of pages in a regular sketchbook, others are made in a folding “accordion” sketchbook. Some drawings were made in the course of one-day excursion lasting an hour or a few hours, others were made over the course of a longer voyage. I have presented some as a single scroll, to capture the sense of directional movement - the sense of sliding-by - that you get while traveling across the water; and others as a slide show to capture the more episodic nature of the journey.
